This past weekend we went camping again at the Guadalupe River State Park with some families we've met through my mom's club. It seems impossible, but I think we've all fallen in love with how easy and fun the campground is: only a two hour drive tucked away next to a beautiful river, tent camping in a field - naturally enclosed by trees and limestone, convenient water spigots at every site, two flush toilets at the end of the drive and a playground thirty seconds away. I mean, come off it.
AND, Augie got to sing Happy Birthday twice. Once to Kris on Friday and once to his friends Lena and Miles on Saturday. Both songs were followed by cupcakes, which may be why he likes that song so much.
