We spent the weekend in Colorado celebrating Grandma Gleason's birthday with her and the family. It was a full house - not a bed to be spared as we all descended on one of the nicest B&B's we've ever stayed at. Aunt Pam was down from Port Angeles, Washington, Cousin Elaine drove three hours from Emmetsburg to Des Moines, Iowa to catch her flight out and Cousin Lisa (Elaine's daughter) made the trek down from the Rocky Mountains. Here are some of the highlights of our time spent with everyone. August ended up getting more presents than Grams, but she was nice and didn't get jealous or mad about it at all. Thanks Grams! Happy Birthday!!!! It was so great to see everyone! We miss you already.

Oh geez, I was starting to worry that something horrible had happened. Next time, you need to warn all of your loyal readers you are leaving for a few days. We get anxious to see these posts!
Trip looks like fun. Did August do well traveling?
Hi August, Yes, that was some Birthday Bash for Grams--the best part was having you here to celebrate the BIG SIXTY with me!!! As I told all my friends, there's just no better feeling than having your Grandbaby to hold in your arms on such an occasion!!!
Thanks again for celebrating with Grams and for my beautiful heart shaped pendant that you gave me--you'll always have my heart, punkin!!!
(We sure had fun with those balloons, too didn't we!!!)
Love and Hugs,
Grams and Gramps
