Around Austin there has been a bit of a money-saving trend to replace our shallow wading pools with splash pads that don't require a lifeguard. The overall attempt is a good one since kids of all ages can splash together and parents don't have to hover (especially if you have more than one). Now if they could just figure out how to keep them on for more than 30 minutes without them breaking down I would be ever-so grateful.
The other day we went over to Pease Park and August immediately jacked some kid's truck. I don't know who's truck it was as there weren't any obvious wailing three year old boys, but eventually he just rolled it back over to the blanket where he found it. He likes to share - both ways ; )
