Little Sprout

Last night we were invited over to Cindy and Rick's house for a little neighborhood Halloween get-together for the kids. There was delicious vegetarian chili and cornbread, friends and acquaintances from our summer neighborhood outings, and one Little Sprout that wouldn't get off JR's ride-on fire truck all night. Which of course is why all my pictures of him are sitting!

We decided to forgo trick-or-treating since I would have had to carry him from door to door and ask for candy myself. Then take it myself. Then eat it myself. So until he's old enough to love candy and hoard & hide it from me, we'll play it cool and eat apples at home.

August, You're one Lucky Baby to have a Mommy who's so handy with a sewing machine--you look like one of the Jolly Green Giant's helpers all set to harvest some beans and peas--tooooooooooo cute!!!!
