Astro-Raspberry

The baby has found a way of wetting his little teeny pincer fingers to pick up every fleck of flotsam that floats by his face, then of course, eating it. My job is a constant, and mostly unsuccessful, battle to keep things out of his mouth. We are locked in a war of wills and he's winning - already!

First of all, what a great shirt! That is adorable. Second of all, the kid needs to get some germs in his system, builds up his immunity. No kid is going to be sadder than the one that will be stuck in the bubble, you know, like John Travolta in the bubble boy movie. Don't make August a bubble boy.

Good for you, August--tell Mommy it's your way of developing your sense of taste and touch and also helps develop your fine motor skills, too, picking up those little dust particles--skills you'll need for holding your pencils and crayons :-) :-) :-)
