Advent Calendar Activity: Donate a toy for a kid my age to the Operation Blue Santa Toy Drive.
This could also be known as the day August's head imploded from excitement. We donated our toys at the local fire station (the fire department sponsors the toy drive) and the guys were gracious enough to let August check out their engine. They turned on the lights and even let him sit in the driver's seat! When August gets that excited he doesn't smile and barely moves so clearly he was in absolute Heaven! The only thing I don't understand is why he calls fire trucks 'night nights'.
