We went to McKinney Falls State Park today for a guided hike with some other families from my mom's group. An old volcanic eruption made a portion of the park look a bit like a lunar landscape to me. Lots of dips, bumps and crags, some filled with rainwater, some deeper than others, some more like ravines.
