Charlar - v. to chat

August put on his chatty pants this morning and I recorded it just for you. The thing is though he loves watching himself more than he loves acting out the scenes. I don't know what James Lipton would have to say about that, but well that's just his style. So here you have him, talking to himself as if he was one of those language instructional tapes. I dunno, maybe it helps?

His speech is coming along slowly, mostly because he's putting his energy into climbing, leaping and trying to fly (I'm assuming). So we get what we get, but at least he says mommy now and ohhhhhhhhh how it melts my big mommy heart. I keep wanting to buy him a toy or take him to Disney every time he says it. Yep, I'm just that much of a softy. I love it.
