As mentioned in the post below, August had his first meal with a spoon in his beautiful brand new custom-made (by Gramps) high chair. We figured since he sprouted a tooth bud and kept making chewing faces he might be ready to try out some semi-solid. I am not a huge lover of food-faced photos, so these will probably be the first and last that ever see the light of day. In a word, EW. And the baby food rice cereal really did taste like stamps and envelopes.

You never need to feed that beautiful kid anything out of a jar again.
Some baby food tastes worse than stamps.
AUGUST!!!! Congrats on your first food little buddy! Looks like your Mama and Daddy fed you the yucky stuff. Next time ask for some of your mom's chocolate cake. It rocks.
